At Adventure Alley, we’re always looking for ways to bring more creativity, curiosity, and purpose into your child’s play. This winter, we’re thrilled to introduce Toronto High Park Young Engineers STEAM-R (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math + Robotics) workshops.
Hands-on, confidence-building classes designed to spark imagination and real-world problem-solving right here inside our nature-inspired space.
Whether your child loves to build, explore, invent, or just understand how things work, these workshops offer a meaningful after-school experience that feels just as fun as it is educational.

Young Engineers is a globally recognized STEAM-R program, endorsed by the Harvard Graduate School of Education and known for turning big ideas into hands-on projects. Kids don’t just learn concepts, they build them, test them, and see them come to life.
With a low 1:5 instructor ratio, mentor-based learning, and projects tailored to each age group, every child gets personalized guidance and room to grow.

What Kids Will Learn
Workshops are tailored to each child’s age and development stage:
SK: Mini Engineering
Grades 1–3: Mechanical Engineering
Grade 4+: Coding & Robotics
Each session explores hands-on building, testing, creativity, and problem-solving that are all designed to build confidence and ignite STEAM-R thinking.
Parents also receive updates, photos, and learning highlights through a dedicated WhatsApp group, so you’re part of the journey every step of the way.

Booking Classes with Young Engineers
All Young Engineers classes hosted at Adventure Alley must be booked in advance. Spots are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Complete the form with parent/caregiver information, child’s details, and any required contact information.

A confirmation email will be sent once your booking is complete.
Parents can purchase their discounted Adventure Alley play pass on-site when they arrive for their session.
We strongly recommend arriving early to secure your play pass and get settled before the workshop begins.
Adventure Alley – Terms & Conditions
To help keep Adventure Alley safe, fun, and welcoming for every family, we ask all guests to review and follow the terms below before entering our play space.
1. Parent / Caregiver Supervision
For the safety of all children, a parent or caregiver must remain on-site for the full duration of the visit. Adults are responsible for supervising the children in their care at all times.
The Nest offers cozy seating, free Wi-Fi, and complimentary refreshments so you can relax comfortably while staying close by.
2. Adventure Alley Socks Requirement
For hygiene and safety, Grip socks are required for all children playing on the playscapes. Socks are available for purchase at check-in and can be reused. For full sock policy, see our Sock FAQ.
3. Late Arrivals
For Young Engineers sessions: If a child arrives late, the time will be deducted from their workshop and optional play period. Playtime cannot be extended past closing hours. Adventure Alley closes at 6:00 PM.
4. Play Discount Details
The 25% off Adventure Alley Play included with Young Engineers programming is valid for walk-ins only and must be purchased at the front desk.
5. Waivers
Guests are required to sign a liability waiver prior to entry. Refusal to sign will result in inability to participate.
6. Changes to Terms and Conditions
Young Engineers reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to parents or guardians in advance.
Young Engineers – Terms & Conditions
By registering your child for the Young Engineers Program, you, as the parent or guardian, agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Program Attendance
If your child is unable to attend a session, we kindly request that you inform us in advance. Please note that participation is non-transferable and cannot be carried over to future sessions.
2. Refund Policy
We understand that plans may change, and you may need to cancel your child’s registration for a program. Refunds will be provided under the following conditions:
Cancellation of Registered Programs: Refunds will only be issued for cancellations of registered programs.
Refund Fee: A $35 administration fee will be deducted from the refund to cover processing costs.
Notice Requirement: To qualify for a refund, you must provide written notice of cancellation at least 14 business days prior to the program start date.
Refund Processing: Refunds will be processed within 10 business days after the refund request has been approved.
3. Photographs and Videos
By registering, you grant Young Engineers permission to take photographs or videos of your child during the program for promotional purposes. If you prefer that your child not be photographed or recorded, please notify us prior to the program.
4. Code of Conduct and Liability
Participants (your child) are expected to follow the rules and guidelines set by the Young Engineers staff and treat others with respect. Disruptive behavior may result in removal from the program without a refund. While we strive to maintain a safe and engaging environment, Young Engineers is not liable for any personal injuries or accidents that may occur during the program. Both the participant (your child) and the parent or guardian are responsible for ensuring your child’s safety during all activities.
